| Details: | SUMMARY: E-mailed a reminder to conduct quarterly DBP sampling DETAILS: EPAs historical SNC list identified YRLC as a significant non-complier (SNC) due to freqent DBP monitoring violations. I e-mailed Bill Mitchell requesting that they conduct quarterly sampling for DBPs (HAA5 and TTHM). At one time YRLC may have qualified for a reduction in DBP sampling to quarterly, but results in 2008 would have pushed YRLC back to quarterly. I sent Bill a spreadsheet with DBP monitoring results and the calculation of the running annual average and asked him to start quarterly monitoring again. ACTION NEEDED: In order to avoid getting a violation for 2nd quarter 2009, YRLC will need to complete sampling by June 30, 2009. Quarterly monitoring should continue until the running annual average drops below 1/2 the MCL for both TTHM and HAA5. | ||
