| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate MCL DETAILS: The nitrate sample taken on 2/24/09 was 8.7 mg/l. Normally this would trigger quarterly sampling but this system has been on quarterly sampling in 2004 and again in 2007. While 4 consecutive samples were not submitted in either year there are several historical results for all four quarters. The averages are: 1st quarter - 8.7mg 2nd quarter - 6.9 3rd - 2.33 4th - 7.7. Therefore annual nitrate sampling is still acceptable as long as it is always done in the 1st quarter. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to submit annual nitrates collected during the 1st quarter - January - March | ||
