| Details: | SUMMARY: SRF Assistance DETAILS: This system provides water to approximately 100 people through 44 connections. The system does not have any treatment or disinfection. The system has recently failed a coliform test and has tested positive for E-Coli. The system is currently working with the State to have a disinfection system installed. However, Jim Foster mentioned that the water mains are leaking and have lead to contaminated water entering the water mains when the system is down. The water mains are greater than 50 years old and Lakeshore Estates would like to have the water mains replaced. The System contacted HBH to provide assistance with completing the SDWRLF. Penny Kass with System also asked for additional information on the next steps after the Letter of Interest is submitted. HBH contacted Louise Burk with OECDD regarding the next steps for the system with the SDWRLF. I contacted system and discussed the next steps in the SDWRLF process and provided them with Louise Birk’s contact information. ACTION NEEDED: None | ||
