| Details: | SUMMARY: SRF Assistance DETAILS: This system provides water to approximately 100 people through 44 connections. The system does not have any treatment or disinfection. The system has recently failed a coliform test and has tested positive for E-Coli. The system is currently working with the State to have a disinfection system installed. However, Jim Foster mentioned that the water mains are leaking and have lead to contaminated water entering the water mains when the system is down. The water mains are greater than 50 years old and Lakeshore Estates would like to have the water mains replaced. The System contacted HBH to provide assistance with completing the SDWRLF. I met with Jim and Penny to discuss the water system needs and look at the system. I assisted the system with completing the Letter of Interest and completed a cost estimate for it. Submitted Letter of Interest to OECDD. ACTION NEEDED: Provide system with additional information on the next steps in the loan process after submitting the letter of interest. | ||
