| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Treatment Options Tech Report DETAILS: PWS has an Arsenic result over the MCL and requested assistance on treatment options and compliance. Samples collected since 12/29/04 have been over the MCL of 0.010 mgl. The latest Running Annual Average (RAA) is 0.0124 mgl. The system has been issued a Notice of Violation with a compliance schedule for installing and satisfactory operation. Jerry has contacted a couple of treatment vendors and received bids in the $200K range. I prepared a report detailing the most common treatment options and recommended one provider/installer. I discussed treatment options with Jerry in our February 10 meeting and conducted well log research fir adjacent wells potentially in a deep aquifer. I contacted Brad Daniels, WDP, about getting an extension to the order. He indicated that would be no problem as the system is making progress in attaining compliance.
