| Details: | SUMMARY: Reviewed status of master plan PR# 155-2004, and current main extension plans DETAILS: Also had contact with water board president Don Parks (410-5093) and Chris White, P.E. with David Evans Engineers on 5/29. The water system is planning to extend a 6 inch PVC waterline approximately 800 feet along Elliot Street from Nye Street to serve a new connection. The main extension will be done in accordance to the water system master plan prepared by David Evans & Associates in 2004. The project will be completed by a bonded contractor and will be inspected by the water system DRC operator and 2 board members. We reviewed specific requirements for PVC pipe installation including the placement of locator wire.The master plan includes a comprehensive distribution system plan that is stamped by a professional engineer. Therefore, plan submittal is not required for this project. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to grant final approval of the water system master plan, Plan Review #155-2204. Water system to submit request for exemption from plan review for main extension projects. | ||
