| Details: | SUMMARY: Customer Complaint DETAILS: June 9 - Received a call from a customer with a complaint of rotten egg smell in the hot water. I explained that hydrogen sulfide was common in wells in that area, and that it did not pose a health risk. Called system owner and left a message. June 24 - Spoke with system owner, Bill Kik. He had received a couple other similar complaints. He had advised customers to flush out their hot water tanks. Called complainant back. Advised trying replacing the sacrificial anode in the hot water heater with an aluminum one, or else getting a carbon filter. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
