| Details: | SUMMARY: wastewater to stream in Salem DETAILS: For at least the last 1 to 3 years one residence in Salem had the sewer line connected to the untreated storm water system going into Battle Creek. This equates to between 300 & 400 gallons of wastewater per day since the connection was made. Salem caped the line today and will correct the problem next week. City of Wilsonville, 50-60 miles downstream, is the next system intake and DWP informed of them of the incident. ACTION NEEDED: City of Salem to correct connection. | ||
