| Details: | SUMMARY: Detect of Benzo(A)Pyrene EP-A Well #3 on 4/6/09 DETAILS: Bill called me on 6/10/09 to report a benzo(A)pyrene detect came back from Well #3 during routine SOC sampling. I asked him to take a confirmation sample asap-- he did on 6/15/09 and it came back ND. I told him he needs one additional sample next quarter from Well 3 to be tested for benzo (a) pyrene. If results still ND, then need to do annual testing of benzo for 3 years during the quarter of the original detect (2nd quarter). If benzo still ND after those 3 annual tests, then return to normal testing of benzo as part of the 2 consecutive SOCs every 3 years. ACTION NEEDED: Test Well #3 for benzo in 3rd quarter 2009 (July-Sept). If above detection limit, continue quarterly monitoring-- if ND, go to annual testing in 2nd quarter for 3 years. | ||
