| Details: | SUMMARY: complaint regarding low pressure DETAILS: Jim is a customer in the Line Drive Area. He called to report no water, or very low flow water coming out of hose bib in the morning. Also, sediment coming out of faucet. By afternoon, flows had increased throughout home to a low flow, and no more sediment coming out of faucet. Spoke to water system, problem is the electrical system on the pump for the pressure tank. Valve has been opened as of 7/2 to allow gravity flow directly from storage tank to system. No need to issue boil water notice at this time as there is positive pressure and flow in fixtures - No reports of illnesses or injuries . ACTION NEEDED: System will have pump electrical units worked on. Mentioned to Jim, that system is flushing the lines to remove any sediment and taking coliform samples, as well as boosting the chlorine. Jim knows that system will need to issue a boil water notice if there are water outages, or negative pressure in the system in the future. | ||
