Details: SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: 11/8/09 Daniel Hough & I spoke with Samantha and she indicated that there has been a new pump installed in the well and that they have installed but not placed on line two new 20,000 gallon storage tanks. We advised to discuss plan review with Scott Curry. She is planning to bring the tanks on line on 12/1/08. We determined that the system would be more appropriately classified a seasonal state regulated system. Daniel will make the change in SDWIS. 12/4/08 Samantha said she spoke with Scott Curry and he is ok with proposals. She will call with an update the end of January, 2009. 1/26/09 Samantha says they are having problems with the yield from the well. 4/9/09 Samantha says that their well was recently deepened. They will submit 5 temporary routine samples after chlorine is out of system. 5/4/09 Advised Samantha that only one coliform sample is due in the second quarter of 2009. No plan review required. 6/1/09 Samantha said that there are no people up there but her until July. 6/19/09 Neilson Research confirmed that the sample submitted on 6/17/09 was negative. ACTION NEEDED: A routine coliform sample needs to be collected in the third quarter of 2009
