| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Positive response - sample invalidation DETAILS: This systems July routine sample, #469206, collected July 1, 2009 at Sample Station #5 was TC+. The repeat sample collected July 6, 2009 at the same location was TC+, but all other repeat samples collected upstream and downstream were negative. This meets the criteria for sample invalidation as described in OAR 333-061-0036(5)(k)(B) and invaliation has been approved by DMCE. The system already collects 2 routine samples instead of the required one sample per month, so their other sample can serve as a replacement to the invalidated routine sample. ACTION NEEDED: Water system should determine whether or not to keep Sample station #5 as a routine coliform sample site. If the issue with the sample site can be fixed, then the sample site can remain, otherwise the system should revise their coliform sampling plan with a replacement sample site. | ||
