| Details: | SUMMARY: Additional field visit to survey spring source DETAILS: I made a field call to the water company on July 7th. I met with Norah at the upper pump house. I inspected the water tank and overflow valve. We then went down to the lower pump house and inspected the pump house and area surrounding it. The wet well had roots, no other signs of possible contamination. A raw water sample, a sample from the wet well, and a sample from the inlet in front of the pump house were collected. All three were positive for total and E. coli. Enumeriation counts showed the E. coli at very low levels, 1/100ml and 2/100ml. ACTION NEEDED: Further investigation will depend on future test results. | ||
