| Details: | SUMMARY: Elevated arsenic DETAILS: Mr. Paradis spoke with Rob from Schneider Equipment about the increase in arsenic. He asked for the test results. I faxed over to him the last 5 years of arsenic. The reports clearly show where the equipment was installed but then it slowly climbs. He claims that there is not maintenance considering the minimal usage that we have. He guessed we would have ten or more years of good service. Maybe he guessed wrong. He has our report and is sending that to his supplier and asking for recommendations. I suggested, if needed maybe we should separate out the hand washing and toilets so we only treat the drinking water. This would take some plumbing but would be a lot less in the long run considering replacing the arsenic removal resin every year. ACTION NEEDED: Chlorinate system and take 5 routine samples in the month of March | ||
