| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Levels above MCL DETAILS: The system owns and operates a Community system which provided water to approximately 800 people through 309 connections. The system is served from two wells (Wells #2 and #5). The combined Entry Point Arsenic level of these wells exceeds the MCL for Arsenic. I met with system regarding the next steps to be taken to become in compliance with state regulations. At the time of our visit, the quarterly averages were just above the MCL. System requested clarificaiton on mathematical rounding of averages. The City is taking another round of samples. Further action to be taken if the system continues to be above the MCL. ACTION NEEDED: Recommend potential treatment system/strategy. | ||
