| Details: | SUMMARY: Iron Bacterial in Pipe DETAILS: The system owns and operates a Community system which provided water to approximately 900 people through 400 connections. The system is served from two older wells, and one new well which is not currently approved for use. HBH was contacted by the City to provide assistance with high levels of Iron bacterial present in the distribution system. I met with the system operator to discuss a flushing program that can be used to lessen the impact of Iron bacteria in the distribution system. Confirmed that the installation of the proposed treatment system whould lessen the occurrence of the iron bacterial. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time | ||
