| Details: | SUMMARY: Elevated nitrate levels DETAILS: April 6 sample shows increasing levels since last sample though not yet an MCL violation. I spoke with Cindy and explained that it is required to take a nitrate sample in early July because historically the MCL violations for nitrate have always been in the summer months. We need to identify if there is a problem at this time which may most likely occur in either June or July. Cindy agreed that the system will take a nitrate sample between now and July 10th and that we will be contacted when this occurs. ACTION NEEDED: If there is an MCl violation a confirmation sample will need to be taken. Then if the average of both the initial and confirmation samples are still above the MCL corrective action will be required. | ||
