| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic DETAILS: 5/20/09 I spoke with Norm and informed him that the state wants well #3 offline at this time. He will sample well #1 and #2 on 5/27/09 for arsenic and then call me. 6/8/09 I spoke with Norm and he informed me that the arsenic results from wells#1 and #2 came back below the MCL and that bids are being obtained for treating well#3. Sample collected today from well #3 tested above the MCL for arsenic. 6/15/09 - Norm said well #3 is off line all year except to one user except when wells 1 & 2 cannot keep up with system demand. Well 3 is not on line at this time so not public notice is required. I reminded him that the state DWP is waiting to hear on which course of action they will take . He will obtain a bid from a contractor to install an arsenic treatment system but also the owner of the system will shut the system down if treatment is required. ACTION NEEDED: Wait to hear from operator which option they will be doing. | ||
