I explained on phone and via suceeding email that he needs to move on to corrective action since he already received 5 coliform positives this week (1 on Monday, 4 on Wednesday), including an e.coli at the well-head.

Gail Flory, Dept. of Ag., asked me for assistance from Russ Kazmierczak and Scott Curry to help troubleshoot the well. The well(s) have been shock chlorinated before with no success. And the second well was drilled without plan review a few years back, after the first well "went dry." ACTION NEEDED: Brian needs to distribute the Ter 1 notice Pete emailed him, and post around facility
Brian needs to shock chlorinate the well(s) this weekend.
Brian then needs to re-sample for coliform on Monday.

Russ and Scott need to evaluate the well(s) to assure adequate construction and consider disinfection, if - as predicted - shock chlorinating the well fails to resolve the issue.

Gail needs to help consult Brian in his corrective action endeavors.
