| Details: | I spoke to the DRC regarding DBP related issues including: the upcoming public notice requirements, the recent TTHM exceedances and LRAA, and the upcoming corrective action plan requirements as denoted in the bilateral compliance agreement. The operator informed me they are working on corrective action measures to address DBPs. We discussed current corrective action measures which included flushing, representative sampling locations in the distribution, reservoir levels, and the ISDE sample sites. I also informed operator that the water system could request state circuit rider assistance regarding a SIPP grant focused on addressing treatment technology options and other pretreatment measures to help lower TOC levels. The water system is aware of the upcoming requirements and is working towards a solution. |
