| Details: | SUMMARY: Ecoli positive DETAILS: Spoke with John and he is aware of failed test and is working on repairs. He informed me that the test taken on 4/29 was the routine sample required for opening the system. After being notified that it was coliform positive he then took four repeats on 5/4/09. These had two positive coliform and two positive Ecoli. John confirmed that the system did have a break in the transmission line and that they have repaired it and are in the process of flushing the system and super chlorinating the line. We discussed public notice and I told him since the system is able to be closed down and that no users are affected that a public notice is not necessary. He said they will do one anyway. John assured me that the UV equipment had been changed this spring as the equipment does not over winter at the Ranch. ACTION NEEDED: Must again take 4 repeats ASAP. I also informed John of the requirement for 5 routines next month. | ||
