Details: SUMMARY: Boil water notice DETAILS: 5/20 received and email from Ric saying that a contractor working around the water tank broke one of the main supply lines to the compound. They immediately shut off the system. A boil water notice was issued and I forwarded info to the state. The line was reconnected and dechlorination was performed 5/23/09. Bacti special samples were taken and run with results received 5/24. Three samples were taken one was positive for coliform…it was from an office sink and may not have been flushed long enough before sampling. Resamples will be run. Residents were given the green light to go ahead and use the water 5/23/09. I concurred with the action taken. ACTION NEEDED: Will follow up with engineer on future sample results and any possible future actions needed at that time.
