Details: SUMMARY: Follow up to routine positive/repeats DETAILS: Stopped by and spoke with Richard Howard today regarding the Citys response to the two repeat positive (TC+) samples, and the followup to the MCL violation. Richard took 4 special samples around the repeat TC+ sites yesterday and received the results this morning - all coliform negative. Richard believes that the portable sampling station was the issue, as the only samples that were positive were at the sampling stations and the procedures may not have been followed correctly for disinfecting the portable sampling station between use. The special sample results seem to support this. We discussed the possibility of flushing in the distribution system, especially if the system continues to have issues. ACTION NEEDED: Richard will be completing a Tier 2 public notice and mailing it out to all customers as well as posting it at community places. A copy of the notice will be sent to DWP within 10 days of being issued. Richard will take 5 temporary routines in September.
