| Details: | SUMMARY: Fairview well #6 VOC & SOC 3rd Q detects DETAILS: Received data for 3rd Q 2009 monitoring for PCE, EDB, & TCE for well #6 (EP-B) at Fairview, which included detectable values all below the MCL for each constituent, however, running annual average of last four quarters of data for PCE, was 5.75 ppb (>MCL compliance value of 5.49 ppb). Well #6 not used since December 2008. I worked with DMCE to reject the MCL violation for PCE, as well turned off. City aware that an MCL violation would be incurred immediately if well 6 in use again. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to keep in close contact with City regarding planned use of well. I recommended continued quarterly monitoring for PCE, EDB, & TCE for well #6. | ||
