| Details: | There were reports of a main break at the Westvue Apartments at Alameda and Vine Street in the City of Roseburg. Customers were reporting dirt coming out of the faucets and no one notified any of the residents about problem. I got a hold of the distribution operator in Roseburg, Tony Dietrich. He said they replaced the master meter to the apartment complex a couple of weeks ago, but that would not have caused dirt to come out of the faucets 2 weeks later. It was also a scheduled shut down for the residents and all of them were notified at the time in-person or with a door knocker that was left at their front door. Tony did say that the owner had hired a plumber to do some replacement work at the same time, but that was on the private side of the meter. Tony said he was going to follow up with the property management/owner of the property to get more details. | ||
