| Details: | In May, the chlorine level at the entry point dipped below the minimum of 0.2 mg/L on one day (May 8). That resulted in a treatment technique violation for that universal minimum residual for all surface water plants. However, in this case, they still met CT that day because their "required CT" is for 4-log viral inactivation only (due to the UV reactor), which is quite low. Thujee emailed me, I sent him the closest public notice template to what he needs (the violation is for not meeting the 0.2 min at EP, but they still met the disinfection standard). I suggested some wording to describe this specific violation. Informed him that we need to receive the copy of the PN by August 7th. I also suggested he send it directly to our data entry staff rather than to me as I will be away much of the intervening time. | ||
