| Details: | I called to follow up with Columbia Hills HOA Upper system regarding their recent history of positive routine and repeat and triggered Total Coliform sample results. I advised the system complete a Level 1 Coliform Investigation to identify and pinpoint where and what the possible contamination source is. Mike Stone told me that they have an engineer who works on the system, and Mike's plan is to dump the salt vat/tub for their ion exchange system, which they hadn't changed out in a long time, and he believes that maintenance on the ion exchange system should clear up the coliform issue. I also mentioned the system is required to collect 3 Routine samples for total coliform within the month of August. |
