| Details: | SUMMARY: Elevated fluoride, sodium and arsenic DETAILS: Left message for Marsha regarding fluoride at 5.4 sodium at 100 and arsenic at 1.8 and 2.1. I briefly reviewed the health effects of elevated fluoride and sodium and suggested she provide a notice to system users to possible concerns. As for arsenic the mcl is not regulated for state system. However, I suggested again that she notify the users of the current arsenic level and be aware that when the system serves 15 or more homes they will need to provide treatment for arsenic or develop additional sources with lower levels that can be blended to meet the standard of 10ppb. We have had this conversation before. ACTION NEEDED: Marsha called and left message that she has notified the users of the levels. No action at this time. | ||
