| Details: | SUMMARY: TTHM MCL Exceedance DETAILS: Monroe exceeded the TTHM MCL on 8/5/09 with a result of 0.139 mg/L (MCL = 0.08 mg/L). This is the second quarterly sample of surface water. Monroe issued public notice after the first quarter because they had been exceeding with their old groundwater source previously. Monroe will reissue the public notice next week. They have been increasing reservoir turnover, and have brought the level down to 8 feet, but it doesnt appear to be working. They are looking into adding a polymer pre-filtration. Disinfection Profiling will be required if they exceed four quarters on surface water. ACTION NEEDED: Await copy of public notice and next two quarters results. | ||
