| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and copper DETAILS: Spoke with Mike today about Creswells Lead and Copper sampling schedule. Mike asked us for assistance on when to take samples because they are currently transitioning to a new membrane treatment plant. The regular L & C schedule is once every three years and this summer (June 1 -Sept 30), a round of 20 samples is due. When the new plant is on-line, two six month rounds of lead and copper samples will be required. The new plant is currently running a week long "trial run", started sept 8th, where no soda ash is being used and the membrane wtp is supplying 100% of water to Creswell. I told Mike to arrange this summers L and C sampling to occur when they have only been using water made from the new membrane plant, (possibly early next week). This will satify not only this summers regular monitoring requirement, but one of the two six month rounds as well. He said he can do that and will try to collect the samples next week. ACTION NEEDED: Take this summers L & C samples before Sept 30th that will also satisfy one of the two required six month rounds after the new membrane plant is on-line. | ||
