| Details: | Spoke to Carl about the persistent HAA5 MCL exceedances at Youngs River. He's going to continue methodically working down the list of activities listed months ago to see if he can't get it down a bit more. He'll sample this week and simply cross fingers this month. But he'll also reach out to the Circuit Rider. He's consulted with Bob Bingham who described how pre-treatment coagulation worked for Warrenton. However, the raw TOC seems rather low at Youngs River. That said, Carl will sample the TOC at the WTP to see if it is still low. He is concerned that the 4 miles of raw pipe could be adding TOC without our knowledge. Actions: * Sample this week * Call Circuit Rider * sample TOC at head of water treatment plant (WTP) * flush raw water line (particularly if TOC exceeds 0.61 ppm) |
