Details: | SUMMARY: Groundwater rule assistance DETAILS: Jim called to discuss the letter DWP sent regarding the choices for the Groundwater rule. Because one of the Citys sources has had a history of an e.coli detection, the City will need to do the monthly compliance monitoring option. Once the City reconstructs Lafayette Springs, the City will need to do monthly raw water sampling for one year. The raw samples must be free from total coliform. The City will also need to continue compliance monitoring for that year and then if the coliform results are negative the City could shift over to triggered monitoring. ACTION NEEDED: City should ensure that their CL17 is completely functional by December 1st so that the City is able to monitor the chlorine residual continuously. |
