| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate alert DETAILS: Nitrate result of 13.4 mg/L. Spoke with Gary and he said that he had done the following since receiving results of 16mg/L the previous week: Retested resulting in 13.4mg/L. Found that the treatment device was out of salt so had refilled it. Contacted the company who sold him the device for guidance and followed their directions such as resetting the treatment device (was not confident that the machines read out was showing what he needed to see). Took another sample to see if now functional (3rd sample since 8/26/09) ACTION NEEDED: Public Notice still posted and would remain so until the machine was working as per results<10ppm. If next sample was not satisfactory he anticipated further discussions with the folks who sold him the treatment device. | ||
