Details:	SUMMARY: Positive repeat samples (4) DETAILS: 10/23/08 System has taken it upon themselves (not with our advisement) to collect four more “repeat samples” on 10/20/08, all of which have tested positive for Total Coliform. 10/28/08 Daniel Hough and I spoke with Tom Sr today and he expressed interest in collecting additional special samples because he does not believe that proper sample techniques (flushing the taps) were used. We advised him about the initiation of enforcement action by the DWP and suggested that he consider installing a continuous chlorination system. To date Tom Jr has not contacted our office. 10/30/08 Tom Jr called yesterday afternoon. Daniel Hough ad I will be meeting him later this afternoon. He left a cell number-- 541-941-4845. 10/30/08 Daniel Hough and I met with Tom Jr on site today and we discovered that there is a chlorine tank and pump present but not operational. We advised him to obtain a chlorine test kit so that he can get his chlorine on line again with proper chlorine concentration. I e-mailed Tom Jr the link to a test kit. We advised him to place an order right away and to call us when he receives it. 3/24/09 I called Tom Jr and left a message for him to call me back in response to an inquiry that Tom Sr had made to the Portland office of the DWP and the Administrative Order (AO). Tom Sr came by this afternoon and we discussed the AO. I prepared and e-mailed Tom Jr the two public notices required in the AO. ACTION NEEDED: A compliance schedule has been laid out in the AO. The system must adhere to the compliance schedule.
