| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: 3/23/09 Received alert. Contacted operator to inform him. Operator reports taking well #2 offline after initial routine coliform positive. Operator reports shock chlorinating well 2 and taking repeat samples per Water Lab instructions. Operator to reshock well 2 and resample for coliforms. ACTION NEEDED: Issue public notice and provide copy to local health department. After chlorination, take repeat samples. Once all repeat samples are negative take total of five routine coliform samples the following month. | ||
