| Details: | SUMMARY: VOC sampling DETAILS: 2/3/09 Spoke with Judy about the lack of VOC sampling which placed this water system on the SNC list. I mentioned that they are on a three year schedule for sampling. The most recent VOC result I could locate was in 2001. Judy stated that she believed a more recent sample had been taken around the year of 2005. I told her that a 2009 VOC sample is required as this system is overdue for one. I checked with Spring Street Analytical on the possibility of a more recent VOC sample than 2001, which could not be confirmed. I also told Judy that Public Notice regarding the lack of VOC sampling was required to be posted. ACTION NEEDED: A VOC sample is required this year in order to return to compliance. Public notice is also required to be posted in locations where all users of the water can see them, informing them of the lack of VOC sampling. | ||
