| Details: | SUMMARY: Obtaining back years of missing monitoring data DETAILS: I recently visited the school to obtain information for a Source Water Assessment. While there, Peter Turner (the principal) said that they have been collecting the required samples all along, although I had discovered that no coliform results have been reported to DWP since 2003. Peter was going to talk to their Lab. I followed up with a phone call on 10/26/09. Peter said the Lab will now report results to DWP, but he did not know about reporting the prior years results. I asked him to allow the Lab to release those records to me/DWP. Maria at Water Lab (503-363-0473) was unsure how best to respond, since all their records over one year old are archived offsite. She could determine (w/o the originals), however, that all the results in question have been negative for coliform. After consulting with Michelle Van Kleek in the DWP database unit to determine a happy compromise, I asked Maria to provide us with the last two years of coliform sampling results, and it would be acceptable in this case if the results are computer print-out copies (i.e., not the signed originals). She will mail those copies to Michelles attention at the Portland DWP office. ACTION NEEDED: Await lab results for the last two years of coliform samples, and watch for future test results as they are generated. | ||
