| Details: | SUMMARY: Reviewed operations and monthly SWTR report DETAILS: Met with David Sanders to review operations and to complete the monthly SWTR report for October. David has made sure that a good chlorine residual is maintained in the system. Chlorine level is about 0.9 mg/l at the injection point, and 0.5 mg/l at City Hall. However, City needs to purchase a new chlorine test kit. The treatment system provides plenty of contact time so the actual CT values far exceed the required. The City is interviewing operator candidates on Friday 6 November, and David is hoping to get the job. Also met with Mayor Darrell Hale to discuss operator certification requirements and need for City to hire a new DRC. Gave the mayor phone number for Jason Green with OAWU because one possible option is for the City to contract with OAWU until they can find a local DRC. ACTION NEEDED: City to purchase a new chlorine test kit. Also, the City needs to contract with a new operator to be DRC. | ||
