| Details: | SUMMARY: IFE trigger exceeded DETAILS: Ray Pardee emailed me today regarding the Laying creek WTP. On 11/5/09 a change was made to how the filters were being operated. They increased the flow and brought all four filters on-line and had spikes from the increased flow scouring the inside of the pipe to the filters, the subsequent scouring caused an increase of loading on the filters for a short period of time( 1.5 hours). No filters were above 1.49 on any individual filter. The CFE did go above .3 for about an hour but most likely will not be a violation as this is calculated 95% of results have be be below .3 NTU. Results will be submitted to PDX at end of month with monthly turbidity report. ACTION NEEDED: none. | ||
