| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive quarterly coliform alert DETAILS: I had several voice mail contacts with the camp care taker Marvin Bennett. He stated that he had not followed proper sampling techniques with regards to disinfecting the sampling tap. He stated this is what caused the positive result. He also stated he had submitted 3 repeat samples which tested negative but have not posted to SDWIS yet. I left Marvin a voice mail reminding him if he in fact only submitted 3 repeat samples, the water system was required to submit 4 repeat samples with 24 hours of being notified of the positive result. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of repeat samples and monitor results of total number of repeat samples submitted. If only 3 have been submitted, I will need to request additional samples be submitted. | ||
