| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow Up Radiological Sampling DETAILS: I spoke to Mark about the radiological schedule for Ice Fountain following the 2nd quarter of Radium 226/228 and Uranium sampling taken in Sept 2008. Result for Uranium: 0.01, well below the reporting limit of 0.2 mg/L- I indicated this value was below the detection limit. Together with earlier Non-detect, I stated that this completes the initial requirement for Uranium, and the final 2 quarters would be waived. Next due is 2017. For Radium 226/228, the Sept 2008 result was 0.81 piCuries / Liter, which was above the reporting limit of 0.2 from the lab report. Therefore, I stated that two additional quarters of Rad 226/228 needed to establish the future schedules. ACTION NEEDED: Mark to contact Pyxis about collecting a Radium 226/228 sample in 4th Quarter 2009 and in 1st Quarter 2010 (Jan-March). DWP to establish schedules for Radium 226/228 after 4 quarters complete. | ||
