| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: I called Eric and he said Don Edwards has walked the system and did not see any indication of leaks. Eric said that he took a special sample at the well yesterday. If it comes back bad, he plans to disinfect the well. I told him that regardless, the system is now in violation and must do a public notice for unresolved coliform. He said he knew that and already told Don to do one. 10/28/09 Don came in and I advised him to use 2 gallons of unscented bleach down the well. Leave it overnight then pump to reservoir. Better yet, provide a pump to waste top and pump to waste. The only bad samples have been at the well. ACTION NEEDED: Public notice and disinfect well if necessary. | ||
