| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform positive DETAILS: Mr. Lau discussed intent to pour chlorine bleach into well for disinfection. We discussed doing that today and then opening each tap in the building until chlorine was evident. On Monday each tap would be run until there sas confidence that chlorine had been purged, after which 4 repeat samples would be taken. Suggested that Mr. lau look at well head to determine if sanitary seal had been put in place since last survey as this was a point that could easily result in contamination and bad sample results. Discussed importance of taking lead/copper samples that should have been done in September as soon as possible and identifying a new person to be primarily responsible for system compliance. ACTION NEEDED: 4 repeat samples on Monday and 5 routine samples in November. Health Dept follow up if any of 9 above show presence fo coliform. | ||
