| Details: | SUMMARY: Near loss of pressure - precautionary boil notice issued DETAILS: A service line break on 11/22/09 caused reservoir levels to drop, although the reservoir was not drained completely. The low reservoir levels were identified on 11/23/09 and low pressures were observed in the system. On 11/24/09 the system issued a boil water notice as a precaution, although system pressure was never totally lost. Additional samples were taken to be sure coliform contamination did not occur. I e-mailed Alan the boil notice template and Summer 2009 Pipeline article on BMP for main breaks. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed at this time. | ||
