| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed establishing agreement for resolution of arsenic MCL DETAILS: I called Marilyn Crawford at Marshland Water Association to discuss drafting a compliance agreement to establish compliance deadlines for meeting the arsenic MCL. The system is already in the process of developing a surface water source and would have already completed the project if not for permitting delays. I explained that DWP has to formally document the process to show fulfillment our public health responsibilities. I told her we can draft the agreement to allow completion of the project by December 2010. She thougth that would be enough time for completion of the project. ACTION NEEDED: I will draft a complance agreement for review by John Crawford and it can be signed after both parties agree to its language. | ||
