| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and Copper sampling DETAILS: Monroe exceeded the lead action level 90th percentile in June (see 9/18/09 contact report), but after a review of the sample sites it was discovered that the Tier system was not being followed. In addition, the three sites that had high results were not sampled properly. CH2M Hill/OMI took over operation of the system from the city several years ago and does not have the citys sampling site history. The results in our files do not show the addresses. I asked Monroe to conduct a plumbing materials investigation, which they did and submitted to me last week. See results of investigation in the file. I requested an invalidation of the June results from DMCE. Monroe will sample 20 sites (5 Tier 3 and 15 others) by the end of December and another 20 by the end of June 2010. ACTION NEEDED: Monroe to sample the 20 sites on their sampling plan by the end of December. | ||
