| Details: | SUMMARY: Mud entered intake and reached filter DETAILS: Greg Benthin called to inform DWP that mud had entered one of the surface water supplies, reached the systems intake, and ended up in the treatment plant as far as the top of the filters. He was calling to obtain advice on the best means of cleaning the treatment plant. Turbidity is still below 0.3 NTU, though it may rise during the process of getting the unit back to normal. Discussed notification actions if turbidity exceeds 1.49 NTU and 5 NTU, which hopefully wont be necessary. ACTION NEEDED: Contact other DWP staff for input on best way to clean unit.
