| Details: | SUMMARY: Contact Tracer Study DETAILS: The system is a groundwater system supplying approximately 112 people through 53 connections. The system source is an intake on the Rogue River along with 2 groundwater wells. The water is filtered and disinfected with chlorine prior to delivery to the customers. HBH was contacted to perform a contact tracer study on the system to determine whether the system is providing adequate contact time. I set up contact tracer study and began to collect data. During the testing, it was discovered that the reported high flow was actual a high average flow rather than the normal worst cast high flow. In addition, the operator had set the tank levels at “normal” low levels, rather than “normal worst case” levels. At this point, the data collection was abandoned. ACTION NEEDED: HBH to redo contact tracer study under proper “normal worst case” operating conditions. | ||
