| Details: | SUMMARY: GWUDI Evaluation and GW Rule Assessment Monitoring DETAILS: Water system meets the criteria to complete Assessment Monitoring as required by the Groundwater Rule. The water system also meets the criteria to complete a GWUDI evaluation. The water system is required to collect 12 monthly samples from their source prior to any treatment or storage. ACTION NEEDED: Collect 12 monthly raw water coliform samples directly from SRC-AA well head. If a raw water sample tests positive for E.Coli, the water system will need to collect 5 confirmation samples within 24 hrs. If E.coli is confirmed, the water system will need to collect two MPA samples (see letter regarding Requirement to Sample for Direct Influence of Surface Water, dated December 28, 2009). A confirmed E.Coli in the source will also require the water system to evaluate for 4-log disinfection/inactivation of viruses. | ||
