| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed extension to Notice of Violation letter DETAILS: I spoke with Gloria regarding the Notice of Violation issued to the Forest View MHP on February 23, 2009. The system has installed arsenic treatment as required by the letter, but the treatment is not yet working properly. Gloria stated that the arsenic was recently speciated, and she thinks the system can be working properly before June 20, 2010. I stated that the Drinking Water Program can grant an extension to the deadlines in the previous letter if we receive an extension request electronically or in writing along with a copy of the most recent public notice issued by the system. ACTION NEEDED: Gloria Arney will email, fax, or mail an extension request in the near future and we will issue an extension allowing until June 30, 2010 to comply with the MCL for arsenic. | ||
